Kamryn joins us to travel the Train of Thought! We take turns sharing travel stories...mostly about bugs.

- Kamryn - being in Brazil and not speaking much English, then getting to the airport in Canada and wanting to talk to everyone
- Cheryl - in Spain spent a day or two not speaking any English, until the daughter and her went out and started speaking English
- Kamryn - Papua New Guinea, became known as bubaiya (papaya)
- Ryan - only saying names because that’s all we knew (couldn’t speak the language) with Edgar
- Cheryl - staying w/ a family in Japan: Hi means yes in Japanese and the host mom thought it was really funny
- Ryan - Cheryl as 7th/8th grader w/ mosquito bite on her eyelid and used a teabag on it
- Kamryn - mosquito bites = malaria in Zambia; went camping back in the states and had a very different experience
- Ryan - mosquitos & malaria, malaria Monday, 100 bites on one leg
- Kamryn - girl who slept w/ arm outside of mosquito net one night and her arm was like scales the next morning
- Cheryl - in Spain in 2000, ate at McDonalds in each country, got McFlurrys, threw them away in bathroom trash, there were ants in it and there was a bomb of ants everywhere
- Kamryn - impasu (ants in Africa), soldier ants, pincers so big and strong they are used to close wounds
- Ryan - ants in cereal
- Kamryn - fly’s don’t bother her anymore
- Kamryn - night in Brazil, close to the amazon, rainy season (when the bugs proliferate & come inside) going to the bathroom, but saw a tarantula on the wall a foot away from her face
- Cheryl - “that’s the real one” the Mona Lisa, the Eiffel Tower
- Ryan - the gold in Big Ben or Tower Bridge
- Cheryl - San Marco’s Square in Venice, so much bigger than she imagined, pink glass in the lamps
