Author Doug Walsh and his wife sold everything they owned and took a 22-month cycling trip nearly all the way around the world! It was the “toughest vacation they ever loved”. They used accommodations from camping in Scotland to staying at the Waldorf in Rome and everything in between. Doug demonstrates innovative ways to travel on a budget, and with space restrictions, on a long term trip. He shares about what rest and “normalcy” can look like when traveling for an extended time. Doug also talks about the inspiration for his book, Tailwinds Past Florence, and how the book evolved from a travel memoir to a novel!
